The word ‘ikat’ comes from the Malaysian word ‘mengikat,’ or ‘to tie,’ because the loose threads are tied into bundles using ropes to specify where the dye is able to sink in and colour the thread. We reinvented the ideas from the classic design into new modern style that can cater young generation and keep the art of weaving legacy in fashion industry. Eager to promote the local artisan by well-designed fashion items. Hand made production in Bali , Indonesia and also Gujarat, India with modern design by our designer.
