Maharaja Series is made from 100% lightweight cotton with a traditional hand block printing using Teak Wood Block.
The cambric structure undergoes calendaring which provides a glossy appearance that retains for years regardless of fabric ageing. It has the perfect fabric for warm days and nights as the cotton used is a type of natural fibre known for its comfortable and breathable properties.
Colors may vary slightly due to lighting. All imperfections are the natural characteristics of Kapten Batik handmade garments.

The batik shirt is superb. The cotton felt very comfortable and of high quality.
I kept telling my husband "you look so cute in this shirt!" and after a few times, he's like "Well i don't feel cute because i didn't actually wake up this morning wanting to 'feel cute'..." Which made me realise, "looking cute" is not a thing for guys.. So i said, "OK fine you look VERY good in this shirt! Do you feel like you look good in this shirt?" to which he answered, "YES. I DO." #success
Because there was no female version, my wife and I decided to get this in the smallest size so that we could have a matching family set. She was able to wear the shirt in a few different styles - tucked in, or as an overshirt. She mentioned that it was very comfortable!
Was immediately drawn to the print upon entering the store and looking at the available range. Kudos to the artist for being very creative with the Batik art and design. The material was light and allows for the shirt to be worn comfortably on a hot day. I don't typically wear purple much, but I'm very happy to have this shirt in my wardrobe!
