Conditions

Kapten Batik is proud of its products. We believe in the quality of our goods and will not be happy until you are. We operate a “no quibble” exchange or refund guarantee. If you are not happy with your purchase just return it to us, in its original and unworn condition. 

  • For online orders, please note that it is not possible to make exchanges or returns at our outlet, as stock availability may vary.

  • Please choose your desired designs before visiting our HQ for pickup, as our HQ does not have a showroom for display.

  • All requests for exchange and returns will be processed after we have received and condition-checked the returned items. Items need to be returned with its label in-tact along with the original packaging and receipt. Please allow up to 7 working days for the request to be processed and fulfilled. No exchange or refund will be made before we acquire the returned parcel or if any of the above said conditions are not fulfilled.
How can I request for an exchange or return of my purchase?

For online order, kindly email us your order number along with your exchange or return details to info@kaptenbatik.com.my . Our Online Concierge Team will connect with you within 3 working days. For immediate response, you may contact our Customer Careline through WhatsApp in here.

For in-store purchases, you may get in touch with our Retail Concierge Team according to which store you made the purchase.

What is the time frame to request for an exchange or refund for my purchase?

We accept requests within 7 days of receipt for in-store purchases and 7 days after received for online store purchase.

Requests after that period will not be entertained.

Will I get a full refund according to the value of my purchases?

Yes, and all refunds will be in terms of store credit. Online purchases will get you your online store credit and likewise with store purchases.

Shipping cost for exchange/returned items

Shipping cost for exchange and returns will be fully borne by the customer. Kapten Batik will only bear the shipping costs for faulty goods and incorrect order fulfillment.

1. Return & Exchange via Delivery

Step 1:
To initiate an exchange or return, please note that you will be responsible for bearing all transportation costs.

Step 2:
Return the shirt to our HQ at the following address:

Step 3:
After we receive your returned shirt, we will conduct a quality check. If the shirt is in good condition, we will proceed with the exchange process. For us to return your exchanged shirt, a payment of RM10 is required for delivery charges. Please make the payment to our Maybank account. Kindly contact our customer care for bank details.

Step 4:
Once the exchange is processed, we will inform you and provide you with the new tracking number for your shipment.

2. Visit our HQ and Exchange Directly

Step 1:
You have the option to visit our HQ directly to exchange the shirt for a different size. No payment is needed if you come directly to our HQ for the exchange or return. Please contact and make appointment with our Customer Careline before visiting our HQ. 

Step 2:
Kindly note that our HQ don't have showroom, we wouldn't entertain any walk-in without any appointment made with our Customer Careline.

3. Return & Exchange via Lalamove / Grab Express

Step 1:
If you prefer a return trip using a delivery service such as Lalamove or Grab Express, please note that the shirt will need to undergo a quality check before we can proceed with the exchange to the required size.

Step 2:
If you are interested in this option, please let us know, and we will assist you in arranging the Lalamove delivery. Kindly share your address location for us to check the delivery charge by Lalamove.
