  1. What is the Kapten Batik Loyalty Rewards Program?
    • This is our way of showing appreciation and adding value to our beloved customers. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like purchases and reviews. These points can be used to earn discounts off purchases, so the more you collect, the more you save.

  3. Where can I join and check my rewards?
    • You can join and check your rewards by visiting our website at kaptenbatik.com.my and logging into your account. Check out the Rewards widget located in the left tab on the website.

  1. How do I view my point balance?
    • Your point balance is displayed on every page in the top bar of our website.
    • Alternatively, our retail staff may show you your available points balance if you make a purchase in our boutique stores.
  1. How can I earn points?

You can earn points through various activities:

  1. Creating an account: Earn 50 reward points for creating an account.
  2. Making a purchase: Earn 1 reward point for every RM1 spent.
  3. Leaving a review: Earn 50 reward points for giving a review.
  4. Social media engagement: Earn 25 reward points for following social media activities on Instagram and Facebook.

 

  1. How do VIP tiers work?
    • Tiers are determined by the points earned, and each tier offers its own set of benefits. Points earned must be within 365 days to achieve and maintain a VIP tier.

Minimum points required for each tier are:

    • Silver: 1 point
    • Gold: 3500 points
    • Platinum: 7000 points

  1. How do I enjoy the benefits of a VIP tier?
    • Once you achieve a VIP tier, you can enjoy its benefits for the next 365 days.

 

  1. How do I redeem my birthday points?
    • Birthday points are automatically added to your account on your birthday month if you have entered your date of birth in our system.

 

  1. How does the redemption process work?
    • If you buy an item for RM1000, you will receive 1000 points. You can then redeem RM30 off for 1000 points on your next purchase with a minimum spend of RM50.

  1. Can I combine points from multiple accounts?
    • No, we cannot combine points for multiple customer accounts. Every customer's point must be used by that account only.

 

  1. What happens if I lose or forget my login information?
    • You can forget your password on the login page. Your account login is the same as loyalty and it’s auto-login once you log in to your account.

 

  1. Can I transfer my points to someone else?
    • No, it is not possible to transfer the loyalty points.

 

  1. What happens if I return a purchase that earned me points?
    • Based on the current setting on your account, points will be removed on order cancellation.

 

  1. As a Gold member for one year, if I've already redeemed 3500 points, do I need to make additional purchases totaling RM3500 to retain my tier status after the expiry period?
    • As per the current tier setting in your account. Since members came into the GOLD tier, they will be in the GOLD tier for 365 days and get the benefits, but to remain in the same tier after the expiration period, they need to earn an additional 3500 points in the past 365 days before the expiration date.

 

  1. If I redeem a reward point but then return the item I used it on, do I get my points back?
    • No, redeemed rewards will not be back automatically, But the point customer earned on the purchase will be removed on cancellation/return of the order.

 

  1. Can I earn points on purchases made using a gift card or store credit?
    • Points will be assigned only for the total purchase amount of the cart. If any discount is applied via Gift Card, then discounted amount will never get points. 


  2. What happens if I earn enough points to upgrade to a higher tier, but then return a purchase that contributed to those points?
    • When returning a purchase, the tier remains unchanged and does not downgrade.


  3. Can I transfer my membership tier status to someone else if I no longer wish to participate in the program?
    • it is not possible to transfer the membership.

 

  1. I attained Platinum membership in March 2023 and have spent over RM8,000 within the year. Having redeemed 7,000 points, I currently have a balance of 1,000 points. Will I need to spend another RM7,000 to sustain my Platinum tier for the upcoming year?
    • If you already spent MR8,000 and earned more than 7000 points during the past 365 days, then in the upcoming year you will remain on the Platinum tier.

Additionally, when does my tier expire?

  • After 365 days from the date you came into a tier.
